The Polar Express

Two weeks ago we were finally able to take the kids up to Williams, near the Grand Canyon, and take a ride on the Polar Express. We surprised the kids and told them we were headed to Sedona overnight, so Sammie was super surprised when we pulled up to the Grand Canyon Railway. Tommy has a fascination with trains right now, and he's been watching the Polar Express over and over for the past two months, so he was pretty happy too. Other than the fact that it was only 17 degrees there and I thought I was going to freeze to death, it was so much fun! The train cars were warm and the ride was just like on the movie--music, cookies, hot chocolate, the conductor, singing, and Santa giving the children bells.

Happy Birthday Tommy Tinker!

Way back in November our baby boy turned 4, and I'm finally getting around to posting some pictures. Not much of a celebration since the poor little guy was sick, and that went on for a week! At least he was able to party the whole Thanksgiving weekend while Grandma and Grandpa Rickenbach were in town.
