A Tale of Ty-Ty

Yesterday I was on "nanny patrol," as Matt and Shari were on their way home from a business trip to Boston. (And nanny patrol is not an easy task when there is one adult to five VERY active children!)

Anyhow, I survived, and last night I loaded up all five children and we headed to the airport. Sam and Susie were in the very back and asked if we could go to Starbucks once we got to the airport. (Wait a minute, they thought I was going to take everyone in the airport by myself--I might be crazy, but I'm not insane! Not to mention no stroller in the back for Tommy.)

So, instead they talked me into stopping off on Greenfield Road on our way. (I know what you're thinking . . . but I didn't think you guys drank coffee?! We don't, but they have frappacinos to die for.)

Kalia decided to be different and try hot chocolate instead of her usual Vanilla Bean frappacino. (Mind you it's 100 degrees outside, but whatever!)

Anyhow, we continued on our way to the airport and Kalia passed her hot chocolate to the back for Susie and Sam to try. Somewhere along the way Ty must have had a taste too. A few minutes later, in a cute little voice, I hear, "More coffee please!" I thought he meant the frappacino, so I passed it back. However, he wanted more of Kalia's hot chocolate. I tried to clarify that it was hot chocolate, not coffee. "Oh," he said.

A few more minutes went by, and in the same cute little voice I hear, "More hot coffee please!" Wouldn't his parents be proud--Starbucks "coffee" at only three years old!

How funny! Ty always calls Hot chocolate coffee! He'll get it sooner or later!
