Blessings

Life has been so darn busy lately that I haven't kept up with blogging very well. However, I thought I should take a second to record some of the good things that have happened lately. The last six months have been quite a roller coaster, so I'm thrilled to have something good to write about.

First off, Tom ended up NOT getting furloughed. Missed it by ONE number. Just coincidence? I think not. Anyhow, we were thrilled. His vacation continues . . . (notice I said "his," not mine!)

And then in the meantime we finally got more family moved here to the desert. Aaron, Rachel and kids settled in Queen Creek, and Lorena, Clint and kids settled in Scottsdale. And in good old East Mesa, Shari and me (I?) are right in the middle.

Tom even broke down and finally got me a truck. We won't mention the fact that I put a crease in the hood a few hours after getting it home . . . I know, I know, women drivers. It was that darn shelf in the garage! But $125 later and it's crease-free, and I know how to park it now.

I've got a great husband, two healthy kids, and a San Diego trip coming up soon. Life is good.
