However, today he carried something much more precious: the bodies of seven of our fallen soldiers. This is the second time he has transported soldiers from Ramstein AFB in Germany to Dover AFB in Delaware.
He called and told me what a sad experience it was to sign for the bodies of seven of our soldiers. Their names were right there on his list, and it was very humbling to think that they are someone's spouse, parent, child, sibling, fellow countryman.
May God comfort their families at this time, and may we all remember to pray for and thank those who fight for our freedoms here at home.

Thanks for sharing. It makes it so much more personal. Not to be all soft, but it did bring a few tears to my eyes.
