Today Sammie had a chorus concert at a local retirement community's Veteran's Day celebration. Call me sentimental, but it turned out to be such an amazing experience.
The kids sounded wonderful, and it was so fun to see all the old people light up. There were so many smiles, and even a few tears. It was so touching to see all the veterans from the various branches of the Armed Forces stand up and be recognized. It truly made me proud to be an American!
Thank you to so many that help protect this country we call home!!

I always love the Veterans Day program at my kids' school. We are so lucky to live in this country!
