Today was a big day for Tom. After four-and-a-half weeks of intense classes, studying, and more studying, he took his first major test--a three hour oral in which he was drilled on anything and everything regarding the workings of a 747--and he passed.
Although it was very difficult for him and stressful for both of us, he pulled through and has now completed the first half of his 747 type rating. Can you say relief?! And the best part is that I finally get to take a quick trip to Miami this weekend and see him. Can you say excited?!
