Pictures from the Road (or the Sky)

A mosque in Dubai. Construction cranes seem to be a permanent part of the scene in Dubai right now. The city keeps going higher, and higher, and higher. (Tom is about ten miles from the downtown, where all the enourmously tall buildings are.)

One of Atlas's 74's on the ground in Hong Kong.

This is an aerial view of Disneyland in Hong Kong. I told Tom he can't go there until he's taken me to Disneyland in California! (I know, pretty pathetic--I'm 29 and I've never been to Disneyland! Ok, so I'm not really 29 either!)

This is an aerial view of snow-covered peaks near Turkey and Iran. I pictured Iran as barren desert, but Tom said it's actually quite pretty. (At least from 37,000 feet, anyway. They have to be high enough they can't be reached by shoulder-fired rockets! Yikes!)
