Similarities

My children live in Arizona, while most of the cousins reside in Utah. That's why I find it so strange the similarities I notice between kids a state apart.

Take Tommy, for instance. Grant lives in Utah, and Tommy and Grant see each other only a few times a year. However, they seem very similar--the tantrums, busyness, size, etc. Now they have another thing in common. In the past few days, Tommy has taken on what I like to call the "naughty laugh." (I know Grant used to tattle on himself with his noises--if he was going to get into something he shouldn't, he would let everyone know with his laugh.) Now Tommy has this certain laugh, as if to say, "I know I shouldn't be doing this, but I'm getting away with it anyway!" Like when he took off his diaper today and ran around naked--he was quite proud of himself and laughed again and again. Or when he got into the nail polish bag and ran away with the files and clippers.

He also turns around and around in circles w/ his eyes turned to the side just like Tyler used to in Grandma Jen's dining room years ago.

I see a lot of Quincy and Lynsie's facial expressions in Sammie, especially when she rolls her eyes (not my daughter)!

Geez, you'd think they're all related.
