Happy Birthday, Tommy Boy

So yesterday was the big 33 for Tommy Boy. I hope he had a fun day--for starts, he was home this year! We've lucked out lately--he was off for our anniversary, my birthday, and his birthday. We didn't do anything fantastic, but it was a good day nonetheless.

It started off with a trip to the barber (hence the SHORT hair) and some Chinese food for lunch. I even made him a homemade German Chocolate cake, with Sam and Cousin Susie to help with the finishing touches.

Shari treated us to the drinks at Sonic, and then the kids ended up swimming. It wasn't planned, but as soon as Tommy saw Ty sporting a swimsuit, there was no going back. Then Sam and Kalia ended up in the pool as well. I even ended up in the water, fully clothed, as my little rascal jumped in with no life jacket. Dum, da-dum! Super-Mom to the rescue!

Then Matt (aka Bishop Baker), Shari and the kids came over for dinner and cake and ice cream. We topped off the night with Shari beating both Matt and Tom at a Wii game of golf.

Happy Birthday, old man! Don't worry, I'll catch up next year.

So it's not the prettiest, but it tasted GOOD!

It think he must have been losing to his younger sister!

Sorry Lorena, he still hasn't quite worked out how to use a gun. I think he's using it as a golf club to hit a Sponge Bob ball!
