So I'm a little behind with the blogging! Last week my niece, Lynsie, flew down from Utah for a visit. I saw her at Christmas-time, but I hardly recognized her when we picked her up at the airport! I think she grew up on me over the past eight months! Contacts, braces, makeup--it's all quite depressing!
Lynsie is my brother's oldest, and she and I have been best buddies since she was a bitty little baby! We didn't do anything too exciting, but I hope she had fun. We wandered the mall a little, went out to eat a few times, and went to see Mamma Mia, which we loved. She and Sammie got along perfectly, and were together every second that Sam wasn't at school. When Sam wasn't here to entertain her, she always offered to help and was so quiet you didn't know she was even around.
I have to admit that I was sad when we took her back to the airport--felt like I was sending one of my own away! And poor Sam had many, many tears, and was quite mopey for the next day or so.
Get the hint--we like visitors!
