They both turned out darling, but of course I was drawn to the airplane! I jokingly mentioned in an email that if she ever got bored, in all her "spare time" (I don't think that exists once you have kids!), she could paint one for Tommy's room. I hadn't thought about it for awhile, but when I came home from the bank today, there was a package on my doorstep from Aunt Lorena, and I immediately knew what it was.
Isn't it cute as a button? No, cuter than a button. Once Tommy wakes up from his nap, I'll hang it on his wall. I can just hear it now, "Eye-cane, eye-cane . . "
P.S. If you ever want to get down on yourself, just think of Aunt Lorena. She's Wonder Woman--always stylish, the house is always clean, the kids (three of them, under age 6!) are always cute, dinner is always on the table, she can play the piano, speak a zillion languages, she paints, etc., etc., etc. . . . That's okay, I'll continue to be the best darn loser I can be!

Yippee!
I know that sounds stupid, but I don't know what else to say. I'm just speechless. Your flattery has me flabbergasted. I'm so glad that you're happy -- it brought a smile to my face when I saw this post. Lots of love!
Aunt Sarah you're the sweetest! I miss you.
