This was the view from our bedroom window tonight. Lots and lots of rain, a constant rumble of thunder, and lightning crashing like I've never seen in our four years here. Considering what Bob and Karyn went through when their house was hit by lightning, we didn't take any chances. We unplugged nearly everything and waited it out. Needless to say, Sammie was terrified of the lightning and thunder. In fact, it's after 11:00 p.m., and I think she's still awake in her room! (Mom, can't imagine where she gets her worries and fear from?!)

Boy can I relate to that one Sarah!! Never hurts to be safe rather than super sorry with no T.V. or other electronic stuff. I still have at least three kids in my room every time we have a thunderstorm here :) I keep thinking they'll outgrow it, but no such luck. Wish we had your sunshine all the time!
